Rather than repeat information available on other websites we have provided the associated links to websites that might also help you find the right treatment, care or support. American Uveitis Society	A US Uveitis site containing detailed information about uveitis which is designed for both patients and professionals.
Bright Sight	A site published by Oliver Backhouse, a Yorkshire Uveitis specialist based in Leeds / Bradford, North England. Good for patient info sheets.
Birdshot Uveitis Society (UK)	Specialises in birdshot chorioretinopathy information and support. Run by Annie Folkard and Rea Mattocks of UIG.
Olivia's Vision	A charity registered in England and Wales providing support and information for people with uveitis. It also raises money to help with the training of uveitis fellows in England.
Vision impairment charities
Ability Net	Ability Net is a national charity helping disabled people use computers and the internet by adapting and adjusting their techology and finding exactly the right way to adapt or adjust your ICT to make it easier to use.
Action for Blind People	UK based organisation which can be useful for welfare rights issues.
Good Hope Hospital	This is a very good site run from a hospital in the Midlands in the UK. Although it does not cover uveitis as such, this link will take you to the Eye department which has an excellent section covering low vision and magnification aids.
Guide Dogs for the Blind	You don't need to have lost all your sight, or to be registered as blind or partially-sighted for Guide Dogs to help you. You just need to have sight loss that makes it difficult to get around independently or live life to the full.
LOOK	The National Federation of Families with Visually Impaired children offers support to the children and families.
Moorfields Eye Hospital	A fairly large site containing good patient info. and links.
MedicAlert	If you take steroids or other immunosuppressants, it is a good idea to wear some form of identification. MedicAlert is one of the best ways to go about it.
NBCS	The National Blind Children's Society's objective is to enable children and young people with visual impairment to achieve their educational and recreational goals.
SeeAbility	SeeAbility's purpose is to enable individuals who are blind or partially sighted with additional disabilites to achieve their full potential.
RNIB	The Royal National Institute for the Blind. A very good site containing everything from good practical advice on dealing with visual impairment to education and employment advice.
VISION 2020 UK	Vision 2020(UK) is an umbrella organisation of visual impairment charities in the UK. The site has links to all Vision 2020 UK members whose concerted effort is designed to eliminate avoidable blindness by the year 2020.
Laser Eye Surgery Hub	This site is mainly about laser eye surgery, but the linked page has a good list of resources for all kinds of vision problems.
Internet Navigation Guide	Practical info on internet accessibility for the visually impaired, providing a clear overview of features like screen readers and text adjustments.

Uveitis Foundation	An American site operated by the Ocular Immunology and Uveitis Foundation, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. It has good patient information and a support group at this address. It also has a very good section for children and teenagers..
Canada
Canadian Uveitis Society	Exists to help organize Canada’s uveitis practitioners and researchers. It seeks to educate and promote the importance of uveitis care. The website is intended to help researchers, practitioners and the general public as well.
Germany
www.duag.org	A German uveitis information and patient support group.
Holland
Contactgroep Uveitis	A Dutch patient support group.
Italy
Uveiti.it	An Italian patient support group formed in 2005.
France
Inflam'oeil	A French patient support group based in Paris who produce newsletters, hold regular meetings and offer telephone support.

National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society	UK based organisation for information and support. They have a helpful Questions and Answers section about Ankylosing Spondylitis.
Arthritis care	UK based site. There are over 200 kinds of rheumatic diseases, often referred to as arthritis.
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis	UK Contact a Family have a fact sheet on Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, a condition which children can get at avery young age and where the eyes are frequently affected with uveitis.
Arthritis Research UK	Arthritis Research UK is the leading UK funder of research into the cause, treatment and cure of arthritis, and provides high quality arthritis information and resources.
